my chances of getting into Stanford?
here are my stats:
just finished sophomore year, going on to junior next semester
ethnicity- middle eastern
low income (50-70k a year) (Divorced parents)
class rank- 1/491
GPA: weighted- 4.438 unweighted- 4.0
PSAT- 186 (sophomore year)
Practice SAT- 2100 (this summer)
Sport: Tennis
Clubs: state officer for national organization (health occupations students of america) , beta club (just inaugurated), alliance of students for cultural awareness, science club, Magnet student advisory council.
-attend a health sciences magnet program in a high school
Also: if i get a b in the future, would it affect my chances of getting in?
im also junior class president
Pretty good!
Make sure you kill your essays.
Getting a B might hurt, but probably not much, especially if it isn't in a core class.
Check out summer schools there. I believe they have a 8 week (?) long seminar that would look very good on your college app!
