Military Divorce Va Disability

Can a spouse Use the VA benifits from the Soldier?

I have several questions to ask about the VA benifits, I had one other question regarding this, but i have more details. So what i want to know is if the following is possible, and excuse me in advance if it is long.

E-3 in military for 4 years, then is medically discharched. claims he gets 100% disability and 10% base pay as well. says he gets the veterans alone without children which is a litle over 2500 a month. now 5 years after being discharged he gts married, and claims she got an id and got to use his va benifits and usd ch 35 to go back to school. 4 years later they get Divorced and she has to surrender her ID, but is still allowed to use the va hospital, gets a check for 900 thru them, and is still able to use her Ch35 to go to school. How much if any of this is true, thank you in advance.

Hello Sammy,

Someone is blowing smoke at you. Bragging. Maybe the soldier is getting medical benefits. OK. He's pretty bad off if he is 100% disabled. But, he's not your husband so why worry about it.

The VA hospital doesn't treat dependents. And, they have a means test. If one makes a certain amount of money they can NOT get medical treatment at the VA hospital. I'm retired after 27 years and make too much money to use the VA. I use Medicare and military Tricare for Life.

VA hospital treats only the worst medical cases for veterans who are really bad off. And, this former soldier is now 9 years after he was discharged with a medical.

So, why are you even concerned about him or bragging by his "women?" Forget it and move on with your own life.

Best wishes,
