Can I stop the divorce process?
I filed for divorce(in indiana)almost two months ago. My husband and I are now back together and are wondering since it is not final yet and I still have a set of papers that haven't been turned in if I can stop the divorce process so that we are still legally married.This is both of our first marriage so we have no idea how the divorce thing works. We would love to tell the court we don't want to finalize the divorce. Can we do this?
yes you can do that. many people do this. You call the courts and call each attorney..of course both sides need to do this so as to be proof that both agree. get it done quick so as to avoid any other court/attorney fees. congrats and good luck..keep working on it..a marriage is a relationship that each of you have to get in your mind each day to get up and work on it EACH AND EVERY DAY!!!!. communication is key for both.. nobody woke up a mind reader..
