How can I convert a 5.0 mustang to all wheel drive?

I would like to take an 89-93 5.0, lift it a little and make it all wheel drive. Would it be easiest to take the body and mount it to a ranger/other 4 wheel drive vehicle frame or could I cut the driveshaft, put a Divorced transfer case and a bronco front axle in and be done with it?
the budget would be about $9k
There were a few 302 ci v8's put into 4x4 Bronco's and F 150's.
They would make good donor drive trains for your project.
The Ranger/Bronco !! series were for 4.0L V6 at the biggest and don't think that the drive train would easily match up to a 302 V8 .Also might not take the V8 power.
You also have to think about the engine/tranny computers, so maybe a manual tranny would be best?
I had an 83 F 150 4.9L 4x4, and an 86 4.9l 4x4 full size Bronco. One automatic and one 4speed granny low.
but I think the bolt pattern mating the engine to tranny for the 302 drive train is different.
