Men that are/were Divorced with small children.....?
have you experienced women that would not date you or were turned off by the fact that you had children?
Also, what about the women that this did not pose a problem. What things did they say or how did they react to assure you that the children and the ex would not stop them from desiring to be with you?
There are a lot of people these days that have children from a previous relationship. Let's face it... the divorce rate is over 50%, not to mention all the people who have had children out of wedlock. I think people should accept the fact that there are many good mates out there who have "baggage". I know that it's not easy to accept someone else's children and there are many issues surrounding it that have to be addressed, such as what role does the parent's new mate play in the child's upbringing. Then there is the question of how the child will accept their mother's or father's new partner, since I believe that most children have ultimate dreams of their parents being together again.
But I do think that if all adults involved act like adults and can talk about roles and limitations and have loads of understanding for each other, there can be a chance for a new life with someone else.
