Divorce Pennsylvania

Divorce Laws in Pennsylvania......Does the divorce become final after a certain period of time?
Husband filed for divorce but I didn't agree with some of the things in it. I can't afford a lawyer. I did have a free consultation and they said a divorce would be final 60 days if uncontested or 2 years from the day he left if it was contested. It's been over 2 years and the divorce still isn't final. What needs to be done now?
I contacted Legal Aid but they said they couldn't help me because there are children and there was property but it was foreclosed on because I couldn't afford the payments.
We live in PA and it took 7 or 8 years for my parents' divorce to be final because even though the settlement was written, my step-father wouldn't sign it. My mom's lawyer hounded his lawyer for years until it was finally settled. He didn't want to give my mom part of his pension, so he figured he'd act like a d i c k for a while to prove his point.
