Can I get an uncontested divorce in Kentucky & how do I do it?
I have been separated (not legally) from my husband for a year now & I want a divorce. He also wants one. I want to know how to do this for the least amount of money possible. We have no property or children so that shouldn't be a problem at all. I've seen the web sites that offer to do it for $200 - $300, and I talked to a lawyer here in my hometown who said he could do it for $470. I have no money right now and I just started a new job, but I want to be Divorced pretty quickly. Does anyone know how I can do this for free or close to free??
You could contact your local "Friends of the Court". There is one in Lexington.
